Moba Legends: 5V5!
The once-popular mobile MOBA game, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB),
developed by Moonton, appears to be available for download again on the Play
Store for Android in India, now under a different name. This comes after the
game was banned in 2020.
The rebranded version, called Moba Legends: 5v5!, offers the same
user experience as MLBB, making it easy for former players to transition
seamlessly. Interestingly, according to the Google Play Store listing, the
game is published by Vizta Games.
Vizta Games has also published titles like Mobile Party and another Moonton
game, Watcher of Realms -AP, in the Indian market. However, at the time of
writing, the publisher's Play Store page only lists Moba Legends: 5v5!.
Despite the ban, it's worth noting that Mobile Legends: Bang Bang can still
be played in India by manually installing the APK from sources outside the
Play Store. The game's servers remain operational in India, allowing players
to continue playing without needing a VPN or other workarounds.
Overall, the return of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang under a new guise as Moba
Legends: 5v5! is a significant development for MOBA enthusiasts in India. It
remains to be seen how this rebranded version will be received and whether
it will navigate the regulatory landscape that led to its original ban.
Note - Many publishers have mentioned that Hindi has been
introduced as a new language in Moba Legends: 5v5!. However, this isn't
entirely accurate. Hindi is also available in the global version of the game,
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. In fact, both Moba Legends: 5v5! and Mobile
Legends: Bang Bang offer Bangla as a language option as well. [no_toc]
